What is Guess the Ark?

Guess the Ark is a free browser-based geography guessing game inspired by GeoGuessr, but designed specifically for fans of ARK: Survival Evolved. Instead of guessing real-world locations, you're dropped into random spots across your favorite ARK maps and challenged to figure out exactly where you are.

Using high-quality 360° panoramic images captured from various locations throughout ARK's diverse landscapes, you'll explore your surroundings, study the terrain, and place your guess on the map. The closer your guess is to the actual location, the higher your score!

Whether you're a veteran survivor who knows every corner of The Island or a newcomer looking to learn the maps, Guess the Ark offers a fun and engaging way to test and improve your ARK navigation skills.

Our Mission

Our goal is simple: to create an entertaining and educational experience for the ARK: Survival Evolved community. We believe that knowing your way around the ARK maps is an essential survival skill, and what better way to learn than through a game?

How It Works

Playing Guess the Ark is straightforward and accessible to everyone:

1. Choose a map: Select from available ARK maps including The Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration, and more.
2. Explore the panorama: You'll be placed in a random location. Look around using the 360° view to gather clues about where you might be.
3. Make your guess: Click on the minimap to place your marker where you think you're standing.
4. See your results: After guessing, you'll see the actual location and how many points you earned based on accuracy.
5. Keep playing: Complete multiple rounds to build your total score and track your improvement over time.

The Creator

Guess the Ark was created by a passionate ARK: Survival Evolved player who wanted to combine their love for the game with web development skills. What started as a personal project to help friends learn map navigation has grown into a full-fledged game for the entire ARK community.

This is a fan-made project created out of love for ARK: Survival Evolved. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Studio Wildcard, Snail Games, or any of their subsidiaries. ARK: Survival Evolved and all related content are trademarks of their respective owners.
